Among the many blessings Christian Science has brought...
Among the many blessings Christian Science has brought into my life, I appreciate and am more grateful than I can ever say for class instruction. I had this privilege when quite a young student. This, I know, established me on a firm foundation. Each year the Association meetings are a great joy and inspiration.
Some years ago, before I knew about Christian Science, my mother passed on, and as a result of grief my health broke down. My husband, who had been abroad for two years, shortly afterwards came home and told me about Christian Science. One day he asked me if I would go with him to see a practitioner, because he wanted to ask some questions. To my own surprise, I consented to go with him, and was much impressed with the way the questions were answered. I started to attend church services, and to study, and gradually the nervous breakdown and the grief dropped away. I now know that because of God's love, there is no separation in Mind. Having sisters and a brother abroad, I have found this truth most helpful.
The most precious thing Christian Science has given me is the understanding of the presence of God. This has enabled me to live alone for many years, without fear.
