I feel I have withheld my testimony much too long, for I am deeply indebted to Christian Science for the great good it has brought to me and mine.
It was first brought to my attention by my father, when I was undergoing a serious illness. Until that time I had never heard of it, although I lived in a city where there were three churches. After several weeks' illness, when doctors and medicine failed me, my father suggested that I should come home; my stepmother was a practical nurse, and he thought she might help me, but this too failed.
It was then that my father told me what he had heard of Christian Science, and gave me some literature which had been given to him. This I eagerly read, and applied to a practitioner for help. In three treatments I was completely healed.
