"Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." Because I have proved beyond doubt that these words spoken by Jesus are indeed true and demonstrable, I should like to express my deep gratitude for the understanding of the Bible truths which the study of Christian Science brings.

Christian Science teaches that Truth, Life, Soul, Principle, Mind, Spirit, and Love are synonyms for God; therefore the words quoted above must mean that we shall know God, and that this knowledge will free us from bondage of any kind. It has been my experience that whenever I have tried to know God, and to acknowledge Him as the only power, in proportion to my fidelity I have been freed from my difficulties.

About nine years ago I had sciatica in an acute form, and was in bed for over two months, unable to move without great pain. When I did get about again I was very lame, and still in pain. I realized that I had not been acknowledging the allness of God, and I was shown by another student of Christian Science that my greatest desire was for physical healing. This awakened my thought, and when I conscientiously turned away from self, and faithfully sought to know the truth, to know God, and refused to see disease or its seeming results as real, I was quickly and permanently healed.
