I want to express my thanks to God, to Mary Baker Eddy, and to the loving practitioners for what they have done for me and for my daughter. My daughter had a nervous breakdown and was confined for three months in a state hospital. I received a letter from the doctor saying that her health was fairly good, but that they did not think she would ever be normal again mentally. This report caused me great grief, but it came to me that there was still a chance for her. Having known a little of the healing work of Christian Science, I sent the letter I had received to a practitioner, and asked her for help. I soon received the reply, "Your daughter is all right," and immediately felt a load lifted from my mind. In about a week I went to visit my daughter, and I cannot express the joy that was in my heart when I saw her expressing health and normality of mind and body. I am most happy to say she accompanied me home that day.

When she was suffering from this trouble she weighed less than one hundred pounds, and was wearing glasses. These difficulties too were overcome. She no longer wears glasses, her weight is normal, and she is enjoying good health.

After realizing something of the power of Christian Science, I also had a wonderful healing of what I believe was pneumonia. Instead of relying on medical aid, as in times past, I immediately wrote to the practitioner for help. At the time she received my letter, I was instantaneously healed, although I had coughed constantly for three days and nights.
