In reply to a correspondent writing in a recent issue, I would state that Christian Science is demonstrable. This demonstration confirms the fact that its teachings are in exact conformity with those of Christ Jesus. This explains the growth and progress of the denomination. Your correspondent writes that the plan of salvation revealed in the Scriptures is for the purpose of delivering from the grave those who obey God's Word. Christ Jesus said, "If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death." That statement will be proved when the difference is discerned between a sinful, sick, and dying mortal, and man made in the image and likeness of God, Spirit. On page 593 of the Christian Science textbook Mrs. Eddy gives the following helpful definition of "salvation": "Life, Truth, and Love understood and demonstrated as supreme over all; sin, sickness, and death destroyed."
