"This is the day the Lord hath made." Every awakening to the presence of God brings this consciousness closer, and it thereafter becomes more constant.

About the year 1918 I was instantaneously healed of deafness. Six years before this, the failure to hear had come upon me gradually. I was filled with fear, for I thought I had inherited the condition from my parents. After a few treatments from a practitioner, I saw that the work to be done was mine. At times the physical discomfort was very acute, and seemed unbearable. Whenever this condition appeared I would think, It is Mind that speaks and Mind that hears, and a material sense of head and ears has nothing to do with it. Thus I would be lifted into peace and harmony.
