I am grateful that Christian Science was given to mankind...

I am grateful that Christian Science was given to mankind in this age, and that, through its study and application, we have the opportunity to understand God better.

I am also grateful for the wisdom which led our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, to give us the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly. It matters not how large or how small a Christian Science church is, or where it is located, the preachers—the Bible, and Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy—are the same in all.

I have had many healings in Christian Science, some of them through my own work, and some through the loving help of a practitioner. I have been healed of yearly attacks of tonsillitis, severe headaches, colds, bronchitis, burns, and stomach disorders. Through this religion of Love I am finding more joy and harmony in my daily life and in my contacts with other people.

I am happy to be a member of The Mother Church and of a branch church and to have had class instruction.
