It
is becoming more and more widely recognized that an individual's thinking is very important in relation to his health, happiness, and well-being.
As
the wise and harmonious management of a home comes through the concerted effort and unified purpose of the members of the family, so should the affairs of a branch church be managed in wisdom and harmony through the active participation of the membership, in attendance and in metaphysical work for the services and business meetings.
Christian Science
reveals the fact that a joyous expectancy of good is natural to men and is a presage of healing.
How
often a child's words awaken us to greater appreciation and illumination of spiritual truth! A young boy had been looking forward to a picnic party, and early in the morning of the appointed day he appeared at the home of the friend who was to share the jaunt, his face glowing, his voice eager.
The commendation of Christian Science implied in a letter to the editor, published in the Post, is appreciated, but the correspondent was mistaken in his statement that Christian Science "found its roots" in an Oriental philosophy.
In "Free Church Notes" reference is made to spiritual healing and various methods which use this term.
