In a recent issue, in the article "Is there a God?" your contributor implies that there is "much agreement" between the teachings of Christian Science and pantheism, and as this statement is entirely incorrect I would ask you, of your courtesy, to publish these few words of correction.

In the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, will be found this passage on page 27: "Jesus" parables explain Life as never mingling with sin and death. He laid the axe of Science at the root of material knowledge, that it might be ready to cut down the false doctrine of pantheism,—that God, or Life, is in or of matter." From this quotation it will be clear that Christian Science and pantheism have nothing whatever in common.
