Your recent editorial supporting the stand of an Anglican clergyman regarding spiritual healing touches something vital and indispensable in any fair consideration of the teachings and the ministry of the Founder of Christianity.

Christian Scientists are interested in such statements from the pulpit and the press, as indicating the trend towards Christian healing in the churches. They have become convinced by experience of Christian Science healing, by its complete accord with Christ Jesus' own teaching and healing, that the rationale of spiritual healing is already available in the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.

This textbook reveals Christianity and Science in complete agreement. On page 313 Mrs. Eddy writes: "Jesus of Nazareth was the most scientific man that ever trod the globe. He plunged beneath the material surface of things, and found the spiritual cause." Christians regard the Master as the Exemplar, the Founder of Christianity; and, as such, was not he the perfect Scientist?
