With great gratitude and joy I should like to relate a wonderful blessing and healing which I had occasion to experience through Christian Science.
When I heard of this Science I had already been given up by three physicians because of a serious pulmonary disease. I studied Christian Science with deep consecration in the hope of finding in it help and healing. I attended all the services and meetings, and gradually I came to understand the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy. A practitioner helped me and showed me the right way.
From that time on I felt a slow but steady improvement. The doctor, by whom I had to be examined from time to time, also noticed this improvement. After I learned about Christian Science I took no more medicine. At the end of three months I felt so well that I could continue studying by myself, and after another three months I found work again. Eight weeks later, when I was examined for the last time, the physician found by means of an X-ray picture that I was completely healed. This healing has been permanent. I have been working steadily for three years. My work is hard, but I can carry it on without difficulty, being throughly convinced that God is my strength and my life.
