For three years the Pasadena Junior College campus has been in a state of tearing down and building up. Three beautiful buildings have been raised, and this fall the classes have found their right, comfortable place in the last building to be completed. During the first year of reconstruction the Christian Science Organization was established on the campus; and from that year to this there has been progress in the organization.
Every Monday afternoon our regular meetings give proof that there is a growing consciousness of Truth's efficacy. Many healings have been related, and helpful thoughts have been shared among the students. And there is renewed courage during examination weeks that brings forth proof of divine Mind's oneness and power. There is much gratitude expressed for the organization, because it brings with it a closer feeling of God's harmonious presence and a stronger sense of complete reliance on Truth in our experiences and activities.
The membership expresses gratitude for the two lectures they have been able to have on the campus, with the help of the Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy. And they are indeed grateful for the facilities that have been made available to them on the campus. This year they have had the use of a large lecture hall in one of the new buildings, in which there is a reading platform and a piano. Last semester the organization was given a room in the Technology building. This room is available for the purpose of study in Christian Science, and is a quiet place of rest to the student librarians as well as to the guests. Members have contributed, for the use of those who wish to study, all of Mrs. Eddy's works, two volumes of her biography, Arthur Brisbane's interview, our periodicals, and other Christian Science literature.
