Some years ago I was beautifully healed of a severe case of neuritis. Previous to that I had been healed of a nervous condition, and wondered if my faith and understanding would be sufficient to carry me through a physical ailment. I later proved, in the case of neuritis, that not only did I have faith enough, but at no time did it occur to me to have any other help than Christian Science.

The pain was intense. I could not stay in one position for more than a few minutes at a time. The entire body was affected. The joints were swollen; I could not use my hands. I am grateful to say that with the help of a Christian Science practitioner I was healed. The healing was so complete that in a short time I was able to take a train journey of one thousand miles in one of the most extreme winters on record.

This is only one of many proofs I have had of the healing power of Christian Science; and it has been a steppingstone to other and greater proofs of God's loving care.
