My sincere gratitude for the innumerable ways in which Christian Science has helped me, prompts me to write this testimony. The unfoldment of good in consciousness is changing my character and my whole outlook on life. I have had many healings, and in the hope that it may help someone, I should, like to relate several of them.

Over four years ago I was suffering from gallstones. With the help of a practitioner this condition was entirely overcome in about four months. Through the power of Truth the gallstones came away naturally. One beautiful aspect of the healing was that during the time I was under this cloud I was enabled, with the exception of two days, to carry on with my work, being sustained by Truth.

Another healing, experienced over two years ago, was that of a wart on my finger. This condition continued for about fifteen months. It seemed so very real to me that I could never rid myself of the mental picture. I endeavored to work out the problem myself, but did not succeed in overcoming it. Several times I asked help from a practitioner, but the condition did not yield. On coming to live in this city I called on another practitioner, and asked for help, which was given; and I shall always be grateful for the wonderful unfoldment that came to me during this time. The practitioner told me to read the statement on page 273 of Science and Health, "Divine Science reverses the false testimony of the material senses, and thus tears away the foundations of error." In studying these words I seemed to get a glimpse of their real meaning. In a few days the wart fell off, and today no sign of it remains.
