For all the benefits I have received during the last seven years, while I have been studying the Science of being as it is taught by our great Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, I am indeed grateful. After not being in any church for over sixteen years, I visited a Christian Science church on a Wednesday evening. After the meeting I experienced a feeling of great joy, peace, and gladness which I had never known before, and this made me go there again and commence the study of the teachings of the Bible and Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.

The healings of physical, mental, and financial problems were many. Some of them were solved with the help of practitioners, who are at all times ready and glad to demonstrate the power of God; others I was able to work out by myself.

One of these healings was the overcoming of smoking. Although I had tried to stop this habit for many years, I was not successful until after I became a student of Christian Science. A sprained ankle was healed in a few hours. In spite of the fact that the foot was swollen to twice its normal size, I went to work the next day, being on my feet for ten hours. A healing of trench mouth took a little longer, but this trouble was also overcome as soon as the truth was properly applied. I could relate many more healings, but hope that these I have mentioned may rouse others to make an earnest study of Christian Science.
