It is gratifying to read in your recent issue an acknowledgment that Christian Science has given a new and healthier outlook on life to many people.

But in case any of the quotations made from the pamphlet entitled "The Church and Christian Science" should mislead your readers, perhaps you would be good enough to find space for the following comments.

The statement that Christian Science is "unacceptable to any reasonable person" is surely refuted by the fact that large number of people of excellent standing regularly attend Christian Science churches in most centers of civilization. Further, at the meetings held on Wednesday evenings may be heard testimonies of the power of Christian Science in healing sickness of every kind—not infrequently in cases where medical treatment has failed.
