Christian Science has led me out of darkness into glorious light, for which I am exceedingly grateful. My whole outlook on life has been changed since I took up its study ten years ago. It is my desire to express my gratitude for the love and joy, the peace and freedom, and the consequent healings that have come through this study.

My first healing was of a cold, which was overcome when a worker in Christian Science told me that it did not belong to me. I accepted this truth immediately and was free.

One time when I was in Boston, I realized on stepping out of an elevated car that my pocketbook had been left in the car. My first thought was that the door was shut. I saw, however, that the door of my consciousness was open to Truth. I told the starter my mistake, and he said it was a large city in which to find a pocketbook, and that I could never tell who sat beside me. The true thought of "city" and "neighbor" came to bless me, and I replied that I was willing to wait, since I knew it could be found. My watch and money and ticket home were all in the pocketbook. The starter telephoned the terminal station several times, and said to me each time, "My dear girl, this is impossible." But I replied I should wait. Meanwhile I was pressing on mentally, knowing nothing could be lost in the kingdom of God. The pocketbook was found at the terminal and returned to me late that night. I came home with a happy heart.
