Sunday School Notes and Comments

I had not been a member of the Christian Science church very long when I was asked to teach in the Sunday school, whereupon I replied that I did not know how to teach in a Christian Science Sunday School. I was told that if I would study the By-Laws in the Church Manual on this subject the way would unfold to me.

I studied the By-Laws and diligently applied myself to the study of the Lesson-Sermon that week, and yet when Saturday night came I still felt that I did not know how to proceed. I studied the Lesson again and prayed for guidance and went to bed.

For some time I lay there thinking over the matter, and suddenly I began to realize that questions and answers about the Lesson were taking form in my thought, and I knew that the method was unfolding. I rejoiced and fell asleep. In the morning I studied the Lesson again and with perfect freedom went to Sunday school and had a very happy experience.
