A Christian Science period in the "Columbia West Coast...

"Columbia West Coast Church of the Air" talk over Columbia Broadcasting System stations in western United States by Roy J. Hutson,—October 23, 1938. Subject: "Turning to the Living Waters."

A Christian Science period in the "Columbia West Coast Church of the Air" series was conducted from Station KIRO, Seattle, Washington, on Sunday morning, October 23, 1938, at 8.30, by Roy J. Hutson, a former First Reader of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Seattle. This program was radiocast under the auspices of the Committee on Publication for Washington and had the approval of The Christian Science Board of Directors. Ruby Osbun Slyde, the soloist, was assisted by Ronald Hooper, organist.

The program opened with Hymn No. 209 in the Christian Science Hymnal; the words of this hymn were written by Mary Baker Eddy. Then Mr. Hutson read from the Bible as follows: Isaiah 55:1, 6, 7, 12; Psalms 46:1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 9; John 4:5-7, 9-11, 13, 14. And from the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy: 13:2-4; Pref. vii:1-20; 97:29-32; 150:4-17; 342:21-28; 570:14-18, 23-25; 234:4-8.

The program continued with Hymn No. 330 in the Christian Science Hymnal. Mr. Hutson then read an address substantially as follows:
