Six times I had what the doctors called erysipelas in my legs, and each time it lasted for three weeks. When I went back to business, the last time, before I heard of Christian Science, I received instructions from the manager to go to a certain professor's hospital to have the cause of this constantly recurring trouble diagnosed, if it appeared again. As I have always disliked hospitals, I looked forward with fear to the possibility that the disease might reappear. I mentioned the matter to a business acquaintance and he recommended that I try Christian Science. I knew nothing about this Science, but I began to attend the Wednesday testimony meetings and Sunday services. About a year later, when the disease reappeared, I asked a practitioner for help. In three days I was completely healed. To me this was a wonderful demonstration, for I was not allowed to stay home for more than three days without a medical certificate.

I am very grateful for Christian Science, and for what its Discoverer and Founder, Mrs. Eddy, has done for the whole world; and also for the understanding gained, and for the help the practitioner brought to me.
