If I had never had an outstanding healing, the difference in my life before and since I began to study Christian Science is enough to warrant ceaseless gratitude.

Having been reared in the South, I came under the general belief of "taking life easy," never quickening my pace. I accepted things as they seemed to be; and had a tendency towards self-sufficiency. After going through a number of unpleasant experiences, however, I found that I was not self-sufficient, but was a very unhappy person. And when I came to the point where I could admit, despite false pride, that I needed something, though I knew not what, God led me to Christian Science.

For the inspiration to live and the active desire to be and do good through reflecting omnipresent good; for the one Principle by which to live; for a truer sense of values; for the love that has been expressed to me, I am extremely grateful to God.
