Extracts from Reports of Christian Science Committees on Publication

Province of the Transvaal, South Africa.

Twelve lectures were delivered by a member of The Christian Science Board of Lectureship. Considerable and growing interest in these was displayed by the public, especially in Johannesburg, where the final lecture of the season drew a record audience. Two notable healings were recorded—one of a weak-minded child whose mother attended a lecture, and in consequence of its appeal to her found her child healed; and the other of a nurse who was so impressed by a lecture she attended that a growth on her eye, for the removal of which an operation had been arranged, disappeared completely.
