It is impossible for me to express in words my gratitude...
It is impossible for me to express in words my gratitude for Christian Science and for all the blessings I have experienced through its application. When I became interested in the study of this Science, I was depressed and despondent over physical and domestic difficulties. With the assistance of a practitioner, I was lifted above the sense of these conditions. I have also had many proofs of the healing power of Truth in overcoming physical ailments, among them an internal disorder of twelve years' standing which was caused by an accident, and for which I had tried many physicians with no relief. I was also operated upon with the understanding that the cause would be removed, but all in vain. After a few weeks' treatment by a practitioner I was healed. It was possible for me to discard arch supports which I had used for ten years. I was also healed of burns, headaches, colds, weak eyes, grippe, stomach trouble, kidney disorder, and many other ailments. Many times my needs have been supplied int the most unexpected ways.
God's protection has been realized many times. At one time in an accident I was fastened tight between two machines, but I did not experience a cut or a bruise. In another accident tons of steel fell around me and against me; I received a few cuts and bruises, but not one broken bone. All who saw this accident said it was a miracle that I was not crushed to death.
I am grateful for the moral and spiritual benefits, and for a more harmonious existence than I ever knew before. I give thanks to God; to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower; and to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.
