Dursley Gazette
In further reply to your correspondent, it is not my intention to enter into a controversy on religion. I should, however, like to point out that, though Christian Scientists defend their religion when it is attacked, they do not attack the religion of others.
Destructive criticism does not help to establish Christ's kingdom on earth. The purpose of Christian Science is to reform the sinner and heal the sick. Christian Scientists are willing to have their Christianity judged—not by mistaken opinions—but by the standard set by Christ Jesus, who said, "By their fruits ye shall know them."
