I have received so much comfort and help from testimonies of others that I wish to give mine as my expression of gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me. I hope that it may help someone struggling with the same difficulty.

From childhood I had suffered every summer from hay fever. Later, when living in Canada, France, and England, I experienced the same trouble, until the summer was looked forward to with dread on account of this irritating malady. When I returned to California some twelve years ago, this condition was beautifully healed through Christian Science. About five years later, on arriving in England, I suffered a great sense of dismay when I was suddenly stricken with this complaint in a most aggravated form. I sent a cable with the single word "Hayfever" to the practitioner in America who had helped me before. This cable was sent at ten o'clock in the morning, and that afternoon the difficulty was overcome. During the following three months while motoring through eight countries of Europe, I experienced no return of the trouble.

One helpful and sustaining thought was that, as there is no irritation in God, I, as His child, could not possibly reflect any. This thought has awakened me to the necessity of maintaining a calmer viewpoint on life, and has been a great help in times of stress and strain.
