Bremerhaven and Wesermünde, Germany (First Church).

Lecturer: Francis Lyster Jandron; introduced by Mrs. Matilde Schilske, who said:—

We read in the twenty-third Psalm, "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, on page 578 of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," renders this line of the Psalm as follows: "[Divine love] is my shepherd; I shall not want." I heard these words when attending a Christian Science service for the first time, and they gave me such comfort and hope that in a very short time I was freed from a physical trouble, a difficulty with stomach, nerves, and heart, from which I had suffered for many years, and which had not been healed through the help of physicians and the use of medicine.
