My gratitude for Christian Science can never be measured by words.

Twenty-five years ago a painful and serious throat infection caused me to ask for Christian Science treatment, after our baffled family physician had declared his inability to further treat the condition and recommended that a specialist be consulted. Fearing an operation, I decided to try Christian Science. Although I knew absolutely nothing of this religion, the condition yielded readily to treatment, and in about two weeks I was entirely relieved of pain, and the evidences of infection disappeared.

Then my husband and I began sincere and earnest study of Christian Science, for we were curious as well as grateful, and desired to know how the cure had been effected. Since then we have had many reasons for gratitude. Healings of carbuncles, colds, abscesses in the ear, and a difficulty which, although not medically diagnosed, was apparently like spinal meningitis, were overcome through the scientific denial of all phases of error, as taught by Mrs. Eddy. Some of these healings came through our own work, some through the aid of practitioners. All members of my immediate family have now embraced Christian Science.
