It is with a heart full of gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me that I wish to tell of an instantaneous healing of neuralgia. I awoke very early in the morning and felt a pain in my head. My first thought was, Oh, have I got to put in a day of suffering? I immediately realized that it was the fear of a cold draft on my head that needed to be destroyed, rather than a belief in pain. Part of the excerpt from Mrs. Eddy's letter dated 1896, published in the Sentinel of April 4, 1936, came to me: "To know there is but one God, one Cause, one effect, one Mind, heals instantly." As I realized the truth of these words all the pain vanished and I fell asleep. Words cannot express my gratitude for this healing and for many proofs of God's protecting care.

I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church, also for the privilege of serving in the Sunday school. I am humbly grateful to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for her wonderful textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures."
