In an article in Gads Magasin of January are some statements regarding Christian Science. In order to avoid mistaken impressions in connection with this teaching, I ask space for a few remarks.

The healings of Christian Science are effected by prayer, by a spiritual understanding of God, and of man created in His image and likeness. The teaching of Christian Science, which is founded on the Bible, is devoid of mysticism and is entirely separated from every form of occultism. Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, teaches in her textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," how one may protect oneself and others against every kind of hypnotism and suggestion.
