I have countless reasons for being grateful beyond measure for Christian Science. Since it was first brought to my attention by a dear friend in 1921 we have proved its truth time after time.

My husband was healed of stomach trouble from which doctors could promise him no relief or cure. This was when Science was new to us and the healing came through reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.

It was not until several years later, when I had lost all hope of recovery by material means, that I turned wholeheartedly to Christian Science and began studying its textbook in connection with the Bible and the Christian Science Lesson-Sermons. I had become weakened by lung trouble and had frequent attacks of kidney stones, which gradually seemed to grow worse and come at closer intervals. These attacks were so severe that I was left in a weakened state for days after. I was confined to my bed nearly half the time, either suffering from pain or recovering from it.
