I can never express in words my gratitude for Christian Science...

I can never express in words my gratitude for Christian Science or my appreciation of what our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, has given to the world. Once we get the slightest understanding of this wonderful truth we become changed; and though error may come to us again and again, we begin to see its nothingness and the allness of Truth.

Fifteen years ago my sister visited me and brought with her two books unknown to me, the Bible, and Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. After a few weeks' reading of both these books I went to a Sunday service in a Christian Science church. I was much impressed with everything about the service and with the love expressed by the members toward strangers.

My husband was a practicing physician, and being very much opposed to my reading Science and Health he often took my books away from me. I never resented this, but gave up quietly and continued to read whenever opportunity afforded. Then my sister invited my husband to go with us to a Christian Science lecture. To our joy he accepted the invitation, and he was very much interested. The next day he bought a Bible and a copy of Science and Health, and in less than six months he bought nearly all of Mrs. Eddy's works, and often told me he realized that Christian Science was a true religion.
