Topic: True Happiness

[Frank Trew, in the Morning Sun, Yuma, Arizona]

To be in the right attitude toward the world greatly ensures understanding and reciprocation from the world. Those who rejoice and go their way happily are public benefactors, and you will doubtless agree that they are quickly recognized as such. The world likes lighthearted, happy people, and instinctively trusts those who have such an outlook, such self-expression. One cannot really rejoice without expressing by his attitude alone something of good will toward his neighbor and all the world.

Thought to rejoice helps others, it helps those most who practice rejoicing, from the very joy and gratitude of blessings realized. By the expression of rejoicing we make our condition receptive to good. Where there is no doubt, no fear, no worry—nothing but realization of a harmonious condition—man is at his best. Spiritually he approaches his real selfhood, and health and happiness and success are bound to be his.
