It is with a deep sense of gratitude to God that this testimony is given. I was brought up in, and attended, an orthodox church until I was a young man, when I gradually dropped away from that church and became interested in Christian Science.

One of the first healings, received through the help of Christian Science, was of so-called influenza, in 1918. I was delirious, and a telegram was sent to a practitioner seven hundred miles away, and in three days the condition was healed. At the same time the smoking habit, which had become very obstinate, was overcome. What appeared to be gallstones and a severe case of rheumatism, when I apparently traveled through the "valley of the shadow of death," were overcome with the help of a practitioner.

I have had healings too numbers to mention, sometimes with the aid of a practitioner, and many times through my own work. Problems of lack of supply have also worked out in the most harmonious manner through the help of Christian Science. One thing in particular for which we are most grateful is that our eldest son has had the privilege of attending a school for Christian Science children, where every student has such wonderful inspiration and opportunity for growth in Christian Science.
