I wish to express my sincere gratitude for the good health and great happiness which Christian Science has brought into my life.

Through Christian Science I was healed of a nervous breakdown. I was in a hospital for some time. My mother had studied Christian Science for a number of years, and she went to a Christian Science practitioner concerning my sickness. He told her that he would work for the right place to unfold. My mother came to me and told me something of Christian Science, but I did not think it could help me, for I thought I should never be well.

After she left I began to realize that I had been thinking in a destructive manner, and the thought came to me, Why not think in a constructive manner? So I began to want to be well, and I asked to go home. Permission was given me to go home, but on probation. I did not need to return to the hospital I began to read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. I cried a great deal, but when the truth began to replace wrong thinking in my consciousness I felt that a light had descended upon me. I thought of the statement in Revelation, "Behold, I make all things new," because my thinking was as refreshed as the flowers and grass after a spring shower. The practitioner lovingly pointed out that man has dominion over all material beliefs.
