Our Annual Meeting
Those who are intending to be present at the forthcoming Annual Meeting of The Mother Church, which will convene at 2.00 p.m. on June 8, 1936, in accordance with Article XIII, Section 1, of the Church Manual, will be interested in the provisions for admission cards made by The Christian Science Board of Directors. These cards will be available to members of the Church who call in person for them at the Sunday school room in the Church Extension on Saturday, June 6, from 8.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m., and on Monday, June 8, from 8.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. The earlier the cards are obtained the less congestion there will be late in the forenoon on Monday, the day of the meeting, in the room where the admission cards are issued.
So far as possible, reserved seat tickets will be given this year to those who have never before attended an Annual Meeting. This is a courtesy in which all members present and not eligible for these special reservations may share by willingly making way for those who have come to their first Annual Meeting in The Mother Church—an especially joyful occasion.
As usual, the program of the meeting will be heard in the original Church auditorium; also, in its vestry, loud speakers will be used for this purpose. Those who are arranging the meeting, and those who are to facilitate its procedure, including the officers, the workers who issue cards, and the ushers, will do all that is possible to work out harmoniously all the details of the meeting.
