In the Manual of The Mother Church (Art. VIII, Sect. 24) our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, quotes St. Paul: "Glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's."

Over two years ago I was laid off by an employer, due to so-called conditions of business depression. Turning to God, divine Principle, I earnestly studied the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," and my attention was directed to the passage on page 518, where Mrs. Eddy tells us, "Blessed is that man who seeth his brother's need and supplieth it, seeking his own in another's good." Becoming aware of the need of employment by several others who were in the same field, connected with a large organization, I secured the approval of the board of governors to act as placement agent. During a short trial period many valuable contacts were made, resulting in employment for several men. Shortly after this activity was discontinued, a large manufacturer, who had secured a man through this channel, asked for another man to take his place, as he was leaving for advancement to a better situation, after being there only a few weeks. I was recommended as next in line, and am grateful to state that for two years this work was done to my employer's entire satisfaction.

Another demonstration of Truth was the locating of my family in a home near our branch church. This came at a time when the need appeared very urgent. It was a large house, in which we were able to share our blessings with others, helping them to make their demonstration of supply.
