Held in Thy Law

BLANCHE HERSEY HOGUE

The waves cream on the shoreline,
Held by the sea alway;
Their mighty tides resurging
Till eve, till break of day.

Thus, one with Life eternal
Do we in God's law move:
Our unescaping being
Held fast, held safe, in Love.
