God's Likeness Everywhere

Of what vital import to every individual is the message of Christian Science that because God is omnipresent, and man, His image and likeness, is everywhere, the unlikeness of God is nowhere in reality.

"In Science, Truth is divine, and the infinite God can have no unlikeness," writes Mary Baker Eddy on page 287 of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." No mere theory or doctrine is here propounded, but scientific fact. Then how may this spiritual reality be proved in daily living? In business experience it may be applied by bringing out the real man in ourselves and our associates. As we express consideration, graciousness, understanding, and other qualities which we recognize to be lovely, we find, by degrees, an awakening responsiveness to the truth in those around us.

We can remember that God's reflection is always here, and cannot be hidden from us by a veneer of selfishness, a mask of indifference, or a make-believe of unloveliness. To the divine Mind, man is always spiritual and beautiful, and we can actually have no other Mind but God.
