Recently The Christian Science Board of Directors authorized the opening of the Norway Street Reading Room of The Mother Church from 8.30 to 9.30 following the Wednesday evening meetings in the Church edifice. This Reading Room is close by the Church, and so is convenient to any who wish to purchase literature or read it for an hour after the meeting. On the first Wednesday evening the room was open for this additional hour, a goodly number of people called, and a considerable amount of literature was put into circulation.
As previously announced, this Reading Room opens at 8.00 a.m.—an hour earlier than formerly. This has been taken advantage of by a sufficient number of people to warrant its continuance. Thus, this Reading Room is available daily, except Sundays and Wednesdays, from 8.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m., and on Wednesdays from 8.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m., closing during the Church service and reopening from 8.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. On Sundays, when it is open for reading only, its hours are from 12.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.,A correction was made in the March 28, 1936 Sentinel: "In the
Sentinel of March 21, 1936, an Item in this column mistakenly stated that the Sunday afternoon hours of the Norway Street Reading Room are from 2.00 to 7.00 p.m. The hours correctly stated are from 12.00 m. to 7.00 p.m. on Sundays"
and on holidays from 2.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.
