in the course of our experience, we meet with a difficulty which we seem unable to overcome, shall we then cease to walk in the straight and narrow way of Truth and permit discouragement to claim our thoughts?

the many comforting statements in the Bible is one that Paul made in his epistle to the Corinthians.
To
those who are burdened with a sense of lack of education the following words of our inspired Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, are filled with hope and power.
In his letter in your issue of February 1, "Arran Hills" writes that he is puzzled that Christian Scientists aver that all disease is of mental origin.
The July-August, 1935, issue of The Holy Name Journal carries an article in which reference is made to Christian Science.

Jesus
paid a wonderful tribute to the thought of the child when he said to his disciples, "Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven".
A superficial
observer of world conditions might find himself deploring the signs of these times.

A short time ago our baby girl was born, and when she was thirty hours old she had hemorrhages.
With joy and thankfulness I send this message to tell of the healing power of Christian Science, hoping it will encourage others to press on.
"When a hungry heart petitions the divine Father-Mother God for bread, it is not given a stone,—but more grace, obedience, and love.
I am indeed grateful for Christian Science.
It is with a heart full of gratitude to God for His unfailing help at all times, and to our dear Leader for making it possible for each one of us to follow more closely in the footsteps of the Master, that I write this testimony.
I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science.
Through an acquaintance I heard about Christian Science, and I read "Rudimental Divine Science" and "No and Yes" by Mary Baker Eddy, in which I became more and more interested and absorbed.
During the years in which I have been a student of Christian Science I have seen wonderful proofs of the power of God to heal sickness and sin.
Deep gratitude for the innumerable blessings which Christian Science has bestowed upon me, and a desire to share with others some of my experiences, prompt me to send my testimony for publication, with the hope that another may find encouragement therein.
