I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science
I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science. When I was very young this religion came into our home, but I never became interested in it until I was grown up.
Several years ago, after studying the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, for a short time, I went to a practitioner and asked for help on a business problem. My first healing was of the use of alcoholic stimulants, a habit which I had acquired at college. The wonderful thing to me was that nothing was said about liquor during my interviews with the practitioner, thereby proving Mrs. Eddy's statement on page 183 of Science and Health, "Truth casts out all evils and materialistic methods with the actual spiritual law."
At once I became deeply interested in this truth, and by prayerful study and application of Mrs. Eddy's writings and the Bible, my business problem was solved. The way has not been easy, but I am grateful for every experience that I have encountered, for each one has increased my reliance on God. As I have learned more about my Father's business, my material business experiences have become more harmonious. During the worst of the so-called depression, Christian Science led me to my right activity in the business world.
