God Is Everywhere

[Written Especially for Children]

Not long ago a small boy came home from school at noon limping. He seemed to be much troubled, thinking he could not take his place in a baseball game which was to be played during the gymnasium hour that afternoon.

He asked a friend to write a note to his teacher asking that he be excused from playing that day. The friend said: "Shall we write a note saying: 'God is not everywhere today. Pain is somewhere, so please excuse this child from the gymnasium hour'?"

The thought of God not being everywhere startled the little fellow and he exclaimed: "God is everywhere! Please do not say He is not everywhere. He really is."
