The Lectures

Introductions to Lectures

Indianapolis, Indiana (Second Church).

Lecturer: Miss Margaret Morrison; introduced by William T. McCullough, who said:—

In the maze of conflicting human opinions in which mankind appears to be enmeshed today, many times unable to decide what is right, what is true, looking to this or to that theory, doctrine, or human planning for a way out, people rejoice in the knowledge that there is a right way; and the one who best saw and walked that way lived on the earth more than two thousand years ago—the man, Christ Jesus. He said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life." That way has never changed, and it is the way out of sin, sickness, sorrow, poverty, lack, and death. There came one in our day, Mary Baker Eddy, with purity of vision, who, through divine revelation and inspiration, found again this way of full salvation, and by her unselfed labor and devotion made that way plain through the teachings of Christian Science.
