Desperate, bitter, tired of life—such was my condition when a dear friend brought me to Christian Science six years ago. Today I know it was God's infinite love directing my way. Many have been the blessings I have received during this time.

I am especially grateful for the healing of insomnia of many months' standing, the result of the terrible economic conditions with all their incidental material effects. For days, weeks, months I suffered unspeakably under this condition. But through the practical application of Christian Science I was completely healed. In spite of the serious economic conditions still prevalent, for more than a year I have slept peacefully and soundly the whole night through. Words are inadequate to express my gratitude to God and to Mrs. Eddy.—Moritz Barsis, Vienna, Austria.
