I am desirous of expressing through the medium of our periodicals my sincere gratitude for what Christian Science has done and is doing for me and for my family.

It was the sincere wish of my husband that I should become acquainted with the teachings of this Science, as I was considered to be not strong. I was invited to visit my husband's family, who lovingly explained the truths of Christian Science to me, and as they seemed beautiful and natural to me, they were readily accepted. A copy of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy was given to me, and the faithful perusal of its contents resulted in my complete release from the use of medicinal remedies, and the continued effort to practice the teachings of this Science has met my every need for the past twenty-five years. I have also been healed of jaundice.

Our daughter, now grown to young womanhood, has had the privilege of being taught in the Christian Science Sunday School and is now a member of a branch church. She has never taken drugs or medicine of any kind.
