So many blessings have come to me through Christian Science that it is impossible for me to recall or recount them all. When Christian Science was first presented to me, I was a wreck in every sense of the word, with nothing to look forward to except incarceration in an institution for the insane. Thanks to this Science, glasses have been removed that had been worn for many years, also a stoppage in the nasal passages has been corrected. Moreover, all the desires for the "flesh pots" of Egypt have been destroyed, including smoking, social drinking of alcoholic beverages, and sensuality. I rejoice that I am taking an active part in Christian Science work and, in all humility, am trying to assist others along the rugged way Spiritward. In conclusion, I give thanks and loving gratitude to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for giving us the truth that makes men free.
