The Lectures
Introductions to Lectures
Brooklyn, New York (First Church).
Lecturer: Hon. William E. Brown; introduced by Louis J. Du Bois, who said:—
Many years ago, Christian Science healed me of a severe form of stomach trouble, and it has kept me in good health ever since. It has done more for me than that: it has given me inspiration, love, joy; it has revealed God to a greater extent than I ever thought possible for human understanding. For more than three decades it has been my guide, counselor, friend, and has given significance and meaning to events and circumstances, banishing discouragement, and supplying zest and enthusiasm for the problems of life.
