In grateful acknowledgment I attest to the healing power...

In grateful acknowledgment I attest to the healing power of Christian Science. "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Gallstones, bladder trouble, and other conditions for which physicians had ordered a second operation, quickly vanished; this was almost nine years ago. Since then I have experienced many other healings, such as of burns, cuts, so-called bilious attacks, bronchitis, laryngitis, infected eye, and numerous other erroneous conditions, as well as the almost instantaneous healing of influenza and bronchial pneumonia. At the time my young son entered Sunday school, he was healed of constipation. He has also been healed of bronchitis, severe cuts, a sprained ankle in less that forty-eight hours, measles, whooping cough, and many other physical ailments. Many of these were overcome through the help of a practitioner.

Because of its utter simplicity I should like to relate a healing which took place recently. An old filling had dropped from a tooth and some time later I had the most intense pain in the place. After a day's work to know the truth I finally called a practitioner, who lovingly responded. This occurred late at night. I went to sleep, but on awaking the pain appeared to awake also. I asked my young son if he thought he would have time to read to me before leaving for school, as I seemed not to be able to comprehend what I read. He sat down beside my bed and read from Science and Health, and in about five minutes I was completely free.

At a time when we appeared to suffer lack, a sum of money came through a channel we little expected. Indeed, we learn that every day our needs are met, just as they were thousands of years ago for the Israelites during their sojourn in the wilderness.
