I should like to express my sincere gratitude for Christian Science and for all that it has done for me.

Over two years ago I was healed of a severe case of rheumatism, which affected every muscle in my body, causing me to be absolutely helpless. Within three weeks I lost thirty-five pounds. Other errors presented themselves from time to time during this period, such as hemorrhage of the nose, a condition of delirium, and badly swollen hands and feet. These conditions were all overcome through the faithful help of a practitioner; and although some of the conditions were slow in yielding, finally I was completely healed. We are the only students of Christian Science in this town and all the help I received was given by absent treatment, and not once during the many weeks was medical aid sought or suggested. I should like to state that in twenty-seven years I have not tasted medicine nor had medical aid of any kind.

A few months after this healing, with the help of the same practitioner, I was instantly relieved of an intense pain caused by a so-called ulcerating eyetooth.
