When we say that all old people should retire and let the younger ones take charge of the world and its affairs, we ought to remember that Mary Baker Eddy was in her eighty-seventh year when she founded The Christian Science Monitor, . . . and refused successfully to surrender to old age. Every important decision in her organization was made by her. She certainly practiced what she preached and proved that it was good.
